Algorithmic Game of the Koi #13
It uses the collective game of koi fish to simulate the logic of group interaction missing from childhood.

Work Overview
A Chinese girl crouches by a crystal clear pond, her reflection extremely sharp. Beneath the water, a school of koi (Y) is engaged in a complex “positional game,” each fish trailing a neon like algorithmic probability cloud (X) behind it. The Z axis manifests as a brushstroke treatment of the shimmering light and ripples on the water surface, making the flow appear both like real fluid and like the artist’s hand blended wash. The fish, water, data, and the girl’s shadow are completely fused in a translucent emerald green tone.
Field Evidence
Drawn from real sampling of urban surfaces, old photographs, object textures, and site light.
Hand Intervention
Overlaying, repainting, deleting, and renaming reactivate authorial judgment within the image.
Algorithmic Inference
The algorithm generates relationships and variants, but does not make the final judgment.
Material Return
The final output returns to paper, canvas, or panel, completing its material embodiment.
