Introduction
Coartisan Art is not AI-generated art, nor a digital replacement for traditional painting. It is a self-critical painting system for the post-image age. Within this system, AI generates candidate images, but a candidate image does not automatically become an artwork. A work must pass through human judgment, formal intervention, evidence control, ethical review, collector fit, and release decision.
In Coartisan Art, a painting must first stand as an image. It cannot depend on concept, issue, evidence, or explanation to create its force. It must carry visual memory, a formal problem, material intelligence, spatial order, and viewing duration. The value of CPA 6.X is that it permits refusal: a work may be complete, compliant, and fully explained, yet still not deserve release.
Coartisan Art serves professional collectors, galleries, curators, and institutional collections. Each released work may be issued with a Work ID, Object ID, series number, edition information, evidence level, release package, and certificate. After the excess of AI images, it seeks to rebuild a credible relationship between artwork, author, process, evidence, and collection.
